Images, videos and documents
Upload, approve and order a model's media, documents with expiry date, comp card.
Under Edit model, the Media area has three tabs: Images, Videos and Documents.
Upload and clean-up
- Upload images takes JPG, PNG or WebP up to 100 MB.
- Upload videos takes MP4 or MOV up to 100 MB.
The upload shows progress and time remaining. Afterwards the file briefly shows Processing: CastTool checks that the content matches the file type and removes metadata such as GPS. Only this cleaned version is ever published, never the original. A file that does not match shows as declined, with the reason.
Approve and order
New files are Private. Only Approved files go on the website:
- Approve approves one file, the button above the images approves all at once.
- Revoke takes it off the website again.
- Set as main image picks the image for gallery, preview and comp card.
- Move forward in order and Move back in order set the order.
- Delete removes the file for good.
When the storage of your plan is full, the upload accepts nothing more.
Documents
You upload IDs and other papers under Documents, as PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP. First Choose document type, then set Valid until or choose No expiry, optionally the document number and Valid from.
Documents always stay private and cannot be approved. Before they expire, an email reminds the model and your team, 30 and 7 days before and on the day itself. An expired document is marked Expired.
Comp card
Create comp card creates a PDF from the approved images and the model's details, Download comp card fetches it. This takes a moment, the page keeps checking until it is ready. Visitors of your website download the comp card on the model's page as Comp card as PDF.
