Castings
For casting offices, create castings with roles and put talent on shortlists.
Castings only exist in the account of a Casting office. A model agency does not see this area. In turn, a casting office has no website, no booking inquiries, no client accounts and no invoices.
You manage your talent under Talent the same way an agency manages its models, see Models. Your basic details are under Casting office.
Create a casting
Under Castings, in the New casting section, enter Title, Client, Location, Start, End and a Description and choose Create casting. A casting is Open, Closed or Archived. The overview shows the number of roles and talent per casting, Open takes you inside.
Delete casting removes roles and shortlists along with it, the talent stays in your database.
Roles
Inside the casting, under Roles, you create each role you are looking for with Add role: name, description and requirements such as gender, person type, age and height.
The requirements only filter the suggestions. Any active talent may go on a shortlist.
Shortlists
Each role has its own Shortlists, for example for the pre-selection and the callback.
Under New shortlist, enter a name and choose Create.
Under Add talent, Matching only shows the active talent matching the role's requirements, All active shows all of them. Search by name narrows it down further.
Add puts the talent on the chosen list.
On the list you order the talent with Move up and Move down, keep a Note on each and take them off again with Remove. Only active talent can go on a list. If talent becomes inactive later, they stay on it with the note inactive.
Selections by link for clients are only available to agencies so far: the link opens a page on their website, and a casting office has none.
Marketplace
Once the marketplace is open, casting offices search it for models from several agencies, see Marketplace.
