Model portal
Profile, images, documents, calendar, requests and bookings in your own portal.
In the portal you maintain your profile with the agency yourself and see your requests and bookings. A portal account only exists through an invitation from the agency.
Access
The agency sends you an invitation by email.
In the link, enter Your name and a password of at least 12 characters and choose Accept invitation. If you already have an account, for example with another agency, sign in and open the link again afterwards.
From then on you sign in on app.casttool.net.
On your first visit you confirm the texts on privacy and terms under Consents. Until then you cannot upload anything or change your profile.
Under Security you set up a passkey or a second factor just like the team, even without an app, see Team and security.
Overview
The Overview shows what is coming up: open requests, bookings, images waiting for approval, a pending profile change and documents that expire soon.
Profile
Profile has two parts:
- Contact: mobile, landline, address and tax number. Only the agency sees these details, and they apply immediately.
- Profile: name, appearance, measurements, locations, languages, talents, social media, references and current jobs. You hand in changes with Submit for approval, and they only appear once the agency approves them.
While a change is pending, you can take it back with Withdraw change. If the agency declines, you see the reason. Email, date of birth and category are changed by the agency.
Images and videos
Under Images you upload JPG, PNG, WebP, MP4 or MOV up to 100 MB with Choose files. Metadata such as GPS is removed. Each file then shows Processing, then Awaiting approval and, after the agency approves it, Approved. Main image and order are set by the agency.
Documents
Under Documents you upload IDs and other papers as PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP: choose the Type, set Valid until or choose No expiry, and Upload document. Only the agency sees documents, they are never published. You get an email reminder before they expire.
Documents uploaded by the agency show as From the agency. You can download them but not delete them.
Calendar
In the Calendar you show the agency when you are free. Choose a day, or two days as a range, then set Available, Maybe or Not available, or Clear. Confirmed jobs appear as Booked in the calendar.
Requests and bookings
Under Requests you say whether you have time for a request from the agency: I am available, Maybe, Booked elsewhere or Not available. The deadline is shown alongside. The same question also comes by email with a link, and the first answer counts. The agency discusses the fee with you.
Bookings lists your confirmed jobs with dates.
Agreements
Under Agreements you find agreements from the agency that you are asked to sign. Read the text, confirm the consent, type your name and choose Sign with binding effect. You can also sign the same agreement via the link in the email. Once everyone has signed, you receive the PDF with the signature record by email. For minors, the parents sign, and the agreement does not appear here.
Comp card
Under Comp card, Create comp card creates a card as a PDF in A5 from your approved images and measurements. It needs at least one approved image.
Consents
Under Consents you see which texts you agreed to, in which version and when. If a text changes, it shows New version, please confirm again. You withdraw the consent to be contacted about offers here yourself, everything else through the agency.
Marketplace
Once the marketplace accepts consents, Marketplace appears in the portal. There you decide yourself whether the agency may show you to casting offices, with Consent and Withdraw. Only first name with initial, category, gender, age group, height, location, languages, talents and one approved image become visible, never contact details. The marketplace is for adult models only. New version
If you agreed to an earlier version, the consent shows as outdated. Agree to the new version so you can upload files and change your profile again. The marketplace is not switched on yet.
